If this is the first time that you have outsourced your typing, we realise that you may have a few queries. After all, you need to be certain that your documents are in safe, professional hands.

We have put together a list of the questions that we are frequently asked about our professional typing services. Q - How can I be certain that my dictation has reached you?

A - Your dictation will be allocated a Job ID. In effect, this acts as your 'receipt' and you can use this number to track the dictation or make a query.

Q - I'm not very good at dictating - I want my typist to make sense of what I'm saying and for it to appear perfectly in print!

A - That is what we are good at!

We understand that when people are talking into a Dictaphone it isn't always as easy as you think to construct grammatically correct sentences.

That is why we do not simply transcribe your dictation word for word (unless of course you specify that you want us to). Instead, we will check your document to ensure that it reads professionally and is grammatically correct.

We are familiar with all manners of terminology and short forms and all our typists are very experienced and excellent at grammar!

Q - My work is very confidential, I worry about trusting it to an outsider.

A - We understand your concerns. We expect to sign a Confidentiality Agreement with you and, in turn, all our fully employed typists have a confidentially clause included as part of their employment contract. Additionally, as we always aim to develop an ongoing relationship with you as our clients, we hope that we won't be considered as outsiders for long; rather, that you will consider us part of your extended team, safe in the knowledge that we have your interests as our priority.

Q - I write to the same group of people, in the same departments very often. I don't want to be spelling out their names every time.

A - No problem! We will automatically build up such lists and documents for our customers to facilitate the dictation process.

Q - What if I know I've made a mistake in dictation but have already replaced the receiver?

A - Don't worry! You can easily access your job again, or you can simply give us a call. Your query will be dealt with immediately by our UK-based personnel. We are very user friendly.

Q - I am on the road quite a lot. I don't want to keep calling at the office to do the dictation.

A - Then dictate on the move! Our system may be accessed via any telephone line, whether landline or mobile, in the UK or abroad.

Q - Sometimes it is evening time when I'm ready to dictate, or even very early in the morning. Will the system be available at that time?

A - Yes. Our system is available twenty-four hours a day and seven days each week, 365 days a year.

Q - I use medical terms/legal terms/financial services jargon. How will the typists recognise these?

A - We have a great deal of experience in a variety of sectors. Our typists have a good working knowledge of various industries, coupled with years and years of solid work experience. We are experts at understanding terminology, jargon and accents.
